Wild Church

Our Mission

This seems like such a big and bold statement but when we really began to look at why we began this journey this was it.

We had discovered the depth of our own disconnection to the earth and the more than human beings here and began to re-member ourselves to the earth community, recognizing we are part of not separate from, we are kin to all. As we re-membered ourselves our love for this earth grew deeper, understanding more fully the wisdom held there, available to all of us whenever needed.

We knew that humans are contributing to the environmental crisis that is killing our Mother and realized that as our love for the earth and all beings deepened we cared for and loved her more .

We each knew that we needed a different form of church, one that fed us in ways traditional church didn’t any longer. We each found our own spiritual connection in nature, but we missed the community aspect of church so we made a community.

We wanted to provide spaces for others to deepen their connection to and love for the earth, to care for her and all beings out of love, a love that deepens each day. We wanted people to have permission to slow down and listen to what the land and those being present had to say, a gift we often deny ourselves.

We have loved this journey and hope that you will join us to see how you can be transformed by the wild earth.
